Dutch Center Measures
We have set guidelines and regulations for each of our centers and aligned these with the local regulators, policy-makers and enforcement departments. We have taken several measures in our centers, set up guidelines for our visitors as well as our retailers.
Measures we have taken in our Dutch centers
- Higher cleaning levels for the center and with additional hygiene stands for disinfecting hands
- Flow monitoring (near real-time): through our ‘flow by Wereldhave’ communication tool,
- Flow control button (tenants): through our ‘flow by Wereldhave’ communication tool, retailers have a panic button available. This can be used in case of an unsafe situation, which will be solved through our security facilities.
- Crowd information (visitors): providing information to visitors on selecting the best moment to visit our centers by providing a footfall heat-map on our website
Visitor guidelines
- Be sensible: delay your visit if you are have a cold or flu-like symptoms
- Give yourself and others space: maintain 1.5 meters distance to visitors and shop staff
- Buy contactless and with pin instead of cash, in order to reduce contact.
Retailer guidelines
- Maintain social distancing. There can never be more than the maximum number of customers present at the same time in a certain stores. This way, a minimal distance of 1.5 meters can be kept.
- High level of staff hygiene. All staff will use disinfecting hand gels and will ensure a strong level of personal hygiene.
- Responsible product supply management. Stocking the shelves will be done outside the regulator store opening hours, or in closed pathways.
- Avoid cash payments. Retailers should provide the option to pay contactless or with PIN in order to avoid contact.
