Between 2016 and 2022, the central shopping area in Tilburg was transformed from an unloved part of the city into a vibrant and vital city center with a wide mix of functions. The right, strong combination of housing, F&B, leisure and entertainment, greenery and shopping is an important success factor in the plan and creates new visiting alibis for the city centre. In addition to being a successful and inspiring project, City-Center Tilburg is also one of the largest recent inner-city redevelopments, in the 7th largest city (225.000 inhabitants) in the Netherlands.
