City-Center Tilburg

Tilburg, Netherlands (Full Service Center)

DESCRIPTION
Between 2016 and 2022, the central shopping area in Tilburg was transformed from an unloved part of the city to a vibrant and vital city center with a wide mix of functions. The right combination of housing, food and beverage (F&B), leisure and entertainment, greenery, and shopping was an important success factor in the plan and created new reasons for people to visit the city center. In addition to being a successful and inspiring project, City-Center Tilburg is also one of the largest recent inner-city redevelopments in the Netherlands’ seventh-largest city, which has a population of 225,000 inhabitants. In April 2023, Full Service Center City-Center Tilburg was awarded the prestigious Kern Annual Development Award 2023.

City-Center Tilburg is an urban dominant shopping area with a superregional function, attracting visitors from both the Netherlands and Belgium. The retail mix is diverse, with a solid F&B offering and eat-and-meet cluster, leisure and entertainment, and high-end retail brands that are not yet present within Wereldhave’s current portfolio.

The shopping center is easily accessible and provides ample parking spaces in two parking garages.
